Persephone’s Haven is a refuge Between Worlds – a place for Faeries, Pagans and Daywalkers to support their lifestyle and explore their dark side without reproach, and a place for Vampires, Goths and other Dark Denizens to find peace, acceptance and artistic inspiration. Here we honor balance and transition — the never ending dance between matter and energy, science and spirit, art and life. Persephone’s Haven is a bridge connecting the world of the living with the world of the dead, the material realm with the realm of spirit. It is that magickal Between that is neither one thing nor the other, that exists at dawn and dusk, at midnight, at the turning from one season to the next and one year to the next. It is a place where we can connect to our Ancestors and listen for their wisdom, where the Gods can speak to us through art and music and literature that touches the depths of our souls, and we can carry their message to the world with our writing, crafts, and all other ways of expressing our personality and uniqueness. For all those Fairies, Goths, Pagans and Otherkin of any kind who have felt so terribly, horribly homesick all our lives, I am holding the door open for you, and from here you can see the candle in the window lighting your way home. My friend Stefan’s website for ceremonial and collector’s blades is up and running! If your form of magickal practice and spirit invocation includes the use of tools such as an athame or ceremonial sword, this is the place to buy from, he’ll give you a good deal (make sure to mention you heard about it here). His main site is http://quality-blades.com, and he is in the process of setting up an eBay store, as well. He also sells figurines, among them dragons and fairies, that in my opinion would make great focuses for anchoring spirits and elementals. Great products, from Hoodoo to ebay to internet business, check ‘em out!

There are several products and companies that I use on a regular basis, and L-O-V-E, so I recommend them quite often. Since I send so much business their way, I figured I would sign up for their affiliate programs. There is now a new tab on the home page entitled “affiliates,” where I have put links or buttons to these companies, along with a brief description of what I use them for. Amazon is there, of course, but you can already access that by clicking on the “bookstore” tab. My web host and the site I buy my domain names are there, an ebook that helped me with ebay, and some podcasts by Catherine Yronwode, who does a kick ass hoo-doo correspondence course that I keep referring to again and again.

The Second Market Shopping video is almost done!

A couple of tweaks to fix, then all that’s left to do is export the audio to Audacity so I can clean up the audio; get together with Tinka next weekend to put in the final text balloon comments; and lastly, clean up the video. And it’s done! So within a couple/three weeks it should be available.

I’m also working on researching some of the topics referenced in the video (like art glass, vintage jewelry, etc.) to create white papers for bonus materials. There will be several of those.

I hope to get some preview clips up soon as well, to give people a taste of the great information contained in this video.
